Former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw shared his prediction for a title rematch in his division between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan, which will be held April 9 at UFC 273.
“I put my money on Jan. I think Sterling will just break down and give up.
I thought Sterling would give him a lot more trouble on the ground in the first fight, but Peter just shook him off. Aljamain looked powerless. Ian is just a killer,” Dillashaw said in an interview with ESPN.
Recall that in March last year, Yan lost to Sterling by disqualification due to a prohibited knee strike and lost his belt. The rematch was scheduled for October 30, but the American dropped out due to injury. As a result, the Russian fought for the interim title with Corey Sandhagen, winning by unanimous decision.
