Parker: I will never fight Fury
Recently, videos from the training room appeared on the network Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs), in which the WBC heavyweight champion trades blows in a sparring match with the former WBO champion Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs). The New Zealander claims that training is one thing, but a real fight is another, and he cannot imagine his duel with the “King of the Gypsies”.
“We have a great friendship. He treats me like a younger brother, his whole family takes care of me. At the moment I live in Morecambe, in his house, I train in his gym. I don't think I will ever fight him. Let him do his job and fight with others, and I will go my own way and fight for the remaining belts that will be free, ”Parker said in an interview with talkSPORT.
Joseph Parker last fought in December, defeating Derek Chisora for the second time in a row. A boxer from New Zealand recently received an offer to participate in the IBF final eliminator with Filip Hrgovic, but this option did not interest him.
