Estrada-Gonzalez Trilogy on February 5

The third fight of Juana Francisco Estrada (42-3, 28 KO) and Roman Gonzalez (50-3, 41 KOs) will take place in the USA on February 5. At stake in this meeting there will be the WBA and WBC Super Flyweight titles.

Previously, the fight was scheduled for mid-October, but during this time Gonzalez contracted the coronavirus and was forced to take a break from training. Later it was planned to organize a duel in the second half of January, and then at the beginning of March.

The first boxing fight took place in November 2012. Gonzalez won unanimously on points. This fight was held in the flyweight category. In the March rematch, Estrada won with a minimal point lead.

The main event of the evening will feature a duel between two former world champions - Liam Williams (30-3-1, 17 KOs) and Jesse Vargas (29-3-2, 11 KOs). The evening itself will be broadcast on the DAZN platform.
