Former world super middleweight champion Carl Froch believes that Anthony Joshua possesses all the necessary qualities to change the situation in his favor in revenge with Alexander Usik... In September Usyk outplayed Joshua on points and won the IBF, WBO, WBA heavyweight titles.

Joshua has taken advantage of the immediate rematch clause and their reunion is now tentatively scheduled for April. There is talk of Joshua hiring a new head coach for the fight - or at least expanding his team with an additional veteran coach. Since the fans, Joshua has been coached by Robert McCracken.

Froch, who McCracken coached pro, believes Joshua should avoid the scenario of making changes to his current team.

“I think Anthony Joshua needs to rediscover the same explosive style and killer instinct that he demonstrated in his victory over Wladimir Klitschko. He is bigger, stronger, taller and larger than Alexander Usik. He has all the physical qualities necessary to win this battle. He has to rekindle the fire that brought him so many devastating victories at the start of his career. He is big enough and strong enough to defeat anyone, especially Usyk, who is much smaller in comparison, ”Froch told Sky Sports.

“AJ has talked about adding new coaches, but I think he should just stay with Rob McCracken and shrink the team instead. It worked for me, I've worked with Rob throughout my career, but I'm not Anthony Joshua. I was meticulous, I thought about a lot, but I trusted my coach a lot. My faith in my coach was undeniable, ”added Froch.
