Poirier vs Diaz: bookmakers name the favorite

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier opened as a huge favorite in a potential battle with a fan favorite Nate Diaz.

So, the BetOnline bookmaker offers to bet on Porier's victory with the odds of 1.25. The analogous figure towards Diaz is 3.00.

The other day, the fighters staged another skirmish on Twitter and agreed to hold a duel in January, but there have been no official announcements from the UFC yet.

On December 12 at UFC 269, Poirier was defeated by choke hold in the title fight against Charles Oliveira. As for Diaz, he hasn't entered the Octagon since May, when he lost by unanimous decision to Leon Edwards.
