Former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo after defeating Rob Font announced his desire to share the octagon with the former title holder in the bantamweight division T. J. Dillashaw.
“I want to fight for the title, but we understand that this will not happen in the near future. Dillashaw is idle right now, so I want to fight him. This will be the best option for me," the Brazilian said.
At the end of 2019, Aldo descended to the bantamweight division. The Brazilian started with two defeats, but then won three victories in a row.
As for Dillashaw, the American returned to the Octagon in July after a two-year doping ban, defeating Corey Sandhagen by split decision.
