“Justin Gaethje will be the next to fight for the belt. Makhachev will most likely play a duel with Beneil Dariush. First we will see the fight Makhachev - Dariush, and Gaethje will fight for the title around May,” the manager said in an interview to TMZ.
The reigning UFC lightweight champion is Charles Oliveira. On December 11, at UFC 269 in Las Vegas, the Brazilian will defend his title against Dustin Poirier.
