Liam Williams is injured, Chris Eubank Jr. is left without a rival

Chris Eubank Jr. (31-2, 23 KOs) was supposed to meet Liam Williams (23-3-1, 18 KOs) in Cardiff on December 11, and the fight promised to be exciting, especially given the tensions between the two Britons. Unfortunately, this fight will not take place this year as Williams has reported injury and the fight between the two middleweights should be officially canceled soon.

It is not yet known exactly what injury the Welshman suffered. The cancellation of the fight of Eubenk Jr. against Williams will seriously harm not only the boxers, fans and promoters themselves, but also the Sky Sports TV channel, which actively promoted the confrontation in Cardiff, and this summer the channel survived the separation from the powerful promotional organization Matchroom Boxing, which significantly changed the situation in the British market.
