Despite the fact that the WBC leadership during its congress in Mexico for formal and legal reasons did not decide to hold a fight for the WBC heavyweight belt between Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KO), King of the Gypsies promoter Bob Arum says he doesn't rule out the possibility of organizing this duel anytime soon.

"We'll see if Fury will fight Whyte, but not as a result of WBC decisions," the head of Top Rank told Sky Sports.

“Whyte is a great fighter and when the time is right, Fury will take care of his opponent. Then Whyte should be at the top of Tyson's roster,” Arum said, noting that the WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KO) is the key opponent for the WBC champion.
