WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) is waiting for the World Boxing Council Congress before taking the next steps with his promoters.

Theoretically, the next opponent for "The Gypsy King" should be Dillian White (28-2, 19 KOs). The WBC president himself acknowledged that White is likely to be considered a mandatory challenger, but there won't be an official announcement on that until the WBC convention.

"We're waiting, there definitely won't be anything until the WBC convention. We're not rushing anywhere anyway and we're going to do whatever Tyson wants to do, not what others tell us to do. He's his own boss today and won't do anything he doesn't want to do," said Frank Warren, one of Fury's two promoters. Earlier, another promoter, Bob Arum, acknowledged that Fury will return no later than the end of April, probably in the UK.
