IBF, WBA, WBO Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk congratulated Saul Alvarez on his convincing victory over Caleb Plant.
"Congratulations. Welcome to the club of undisputed champions, Canelo!" tweeted Usyk, who previously held all the major titles in the cruiserweight division.
On November 7 in Las Vegas, Alvarez knocked out Plant in the eleventh round to become the undisputed super middleweight champion. The Mexican became the first fighter in history to unify all the belts in the category.
