Eagle FC: "Signing Emelianenko? No way!"

Eagle FC promotions president Shamil Zavurov said he is not considering inviting famous heavyweight Alexander Emelianenko to the organization.

"Does the EFC league have any interest in Alexander Emelianenko? Absolutely not! I categorically do not want him to compete in our league. Why? I don't know... No matter how he comes back, no matter what he does - I don`t like his behavior. I think even if we start negotiating, it's gonna be a dead end. We cannot reach an agreement. We're straightforward people: we do what we say. I think we will have a hard time with him."

"For some kind of hype? We do not need it. I do not think that Alexander Emelianenko would be of much use in terms of promotion. Maybe a little hype, but no more than that. We focus on young guys," Zavurov said.
