Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) said a rematch with Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) will not take place until April. Eddie Hearn initially stated that a second fight between the Ukrainian and Briton could take place as early as next February.

"Promoters will now discuss terms of the fight. Most likely it will be the first weeks of spring, around April," said the Ukrainian.

It's not out of the question that Joshua will make some changes to his angle after the first fight. The Briton has said that if a new specialist joins his coaching staff, he will need six months of work before his rematch with Usyk. It means fans can wait for the fight for IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion belts until the summer.

Where the second fight will take place is not yet known. Usyk has expressed a desire to have the fight in Ukraine, but the most likely scenario is another night in the UK.
