Former super lightweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez (26-1, 17 KOs) will have his next professional fight on February 5. The 29-year-old boxer will likely cross gloves with former two-weight champion Jose Pedraza (29-3, 14 KOs).
This will be Ramirez's first appearance in the ring since losing to Josh Taylor. The Californian lost to the Scotsman in May in a fight for four championship belts at 140 pounds.
Pedraza, 32, owned the super featherweight and lightweight championship belts and last fought in June, defeating the previously undefeated Julian Rodriguez.
