Hearn: "Fury-Whyte to go on bids most likely"

Whyte was scheduled to face Otto Wallin on October 30, but declined the fight, citing a shoulder injury. He is now leaning more toward a fight with WBC champion Fury.

"The best super featherweight fighter is Tyson Fury and it's an obvious choice. Fight him or that idiot Wallin? He can't even express himself, he just cries. He and his promoter are regular whiners," Whyte said a few days ago.

It's worth remembering that Whyte is the interim WBC World Champion, led by Mauricio Saulaiman. The Matchroom Boxing promoter expects that if no direct agreement can be reached between the teams and broadcasters, there will be a call for promoter bids and specific proposals will be on the table.

"I don't think Tyson cares much about who is going to organize this fight. So I think the most likely scenario would be a bidding process. Fury doesn't care if Arum is his promoter. He'll only be thinking about how to make the most money," Hearn stated.
