Eddie Hearn said in an interview with IFL TV that it's too early to make definite statements about Anthony Joshua (24-2-1, 21 KOs) before his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) will fire coach Rob McCracken and replace him with a US coach.

AJ has visited several American boxing gyms in recent days, including Ronnie Shields and Eddie Reynoso. However, the British promoter says there's no point in drawing too far-reaching conclusions from the Brit's boxing travels.

"He hasn't walked away from McCracken and decided to train with someone else. In my opinion, he just wants to learn something, find a way to develop," Hearn said.

Meanwhile, according to Dillian Whyte, the reason for Joshua's weak performance in his lost fight with Usyk is not the coach's weak plan for the fight. "Joshua's problem is not with the coach at all, it's with himself. It's easy to blame others and not yourself," Whyte told TalkSport.
