Negotiations for Usyk-Joshua 2 start in November

Negotiations for a rematch of Anthony Joshua (24-2, 21 KOs) with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) will begin in November. Their second title bout will take place next spring.

"Oleksandr Krassyuk is on vacation now and we have agreed to talk to him in early November. Then we'll sit down and think about when and where the rematch will take place. March is a very realistic date for that event," said Eddie Hearn.

"Most of all I would like to see the second fight take place in the UK. However, I am receiving enquiries and serious offers from other countries. Together we will choose the best solution," added the Matchroom Boxing head.

The first Joshua-Usyk fight took place in September at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The Ukrainian won by unanimous decision, capturing the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles.
