UFC female fighter Liana Jojua has revealed how she once beat up an adult man in Moscow who insulted her on the bus.
"Once I was on a bus in Moscow for training. There were four seats available. I sat in one and put my training bag on the second one. But there were two more available in front of me. A grown-up man of 50-55 years old came in. He was dressed normally, I could see he was coming from work, had a leather bag, wore a suit. In a very rude manner he says to me: "Put the bag away". I say to him, "Don't you have enough room?" He drops the bag and starts verbally abusing me: "Bitch!" and so on.
"I'm shocked because I've never had any conflicts with adults. I was 19-20 years old, already doing Thai boxing. My defensive reaction to this? I started crying, picked up my bag, waited for my stop. He saw that I wasn't myself. And already at the end stop, he got off with me too.
"After this phrase I was overwhelmed, I threw the bag and started hitting him. Came in from the double, he tried to swing away, hit me too. I started diving in, coming back in with a deuce. Straight up better than the fights. There was a funny situation, the grannies were sitting there: "Man! Aren't you ashamed?" I'd take him out, I'd go out, I'd go in, I'd hit him hard. And the grannies were shocked: "Girl, where are you going?!" Jojua said.
