Russian rap singer GeeGun has revealed that his bout with mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko has been postponed. The latter had previously stated that their meeting could take place in November.

The rapper was a guest on the new issue of Comedy Club and spoke about the reason for postponing the fight.

"Comedy Club residents learned that the musician would receive 50 million rubles for his fight with Emelianenko. They asked him how he agreed to go into the ring against a mixed martial arts pro, why he named exactly such a fee and, most importantly, why 50 million to a dead man? "I have a lot of kids," GeeGun replied. GeeGun then added that the fight is postponed as he needs to fly away urgently... to the Maldives," according to the press release.
