Joshua wants a rematch

Anthony Joshua (24-2, 21 KOs) at a press conference after losing his fight to Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) said he will demand a rematch, the right to which was included in the contract for the fight.

So far there are no concrete plans for the date and place of the second fight for the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles. Eddie Hearn mentioned February or March 2022 and the United Kingdom as the venue. As for the other options, Saudi Arabia was mentioned most often, although negotiations are fully open on the matter.

Joshua must have a rematch with Usyk, otherwise he could forget about the championship fights for a long time.
