"If Joshua doesn't stop Usyk in the first rounds, Usyk will punish him," believes Frank Warren, promoter Tyson Fury. The Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) fight with Oleksandr Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) for the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles will take place this Saturday.
"I'm sure if Usyk wanted to go back to featherweight he would come back easily, so Joshua can be considered the favorite. He'll be bigger, stronger physically and will hit harder. But if he can't shake his opponent quickly, he could lose. If the duel moves into the second round, Usyk's chances will start to rise. Usyk is my full distance favorite. In my opinion, after twelve rounds he will beat Joshua on points, he will rock him and beat him. He's a very smart boxer. If he goes through Joshua's left straight to the middle distance, Joshua will be in huge trouble," Warren claims.
"The Ukrainian has only had two fights at heavyweight so far. And he hasn't shone in either. Regardless, he seems confident in himself. Opinions of the experts? I don't care about them!" Warren added.
