Emelianenko defeats Tarasov on points

Russian mixed martial arts veteran Alexander Emelianenko defeated blogger fighter Artem Tarasov by unanimous decision of at the tournament of the pop-promotion "Our Cause".

The first round was for Tarasov, who moved a lot and delivered more punches to the target. In the second and third segments of the fight, Emelianenko looked more preferable as he knocked his opponent down several times.

The bout was by fist-fighting rules with MMA gloves.

For 40-year-old Emelianenko this fight was his first since July, 2020, when he lost by knockout to Magomed Ismailov.
