Russian heavyweight Alexander Emelianenko commented on the constant criticism from former UFC fighter Oleg Taktarov.

"Why is Taktarov speaking harshly about me? Because he's an asshole. Because he can't let go of the glory of the past years, when he went out to the United States long ago, fought one-sided athletes, then stayed in America, came back, and no one knows or respects him. And he had his chest done and he lives in the past. It's time for him to realize that there are other athletes a long time ago that he can't compete with in the ring.
