Oliveira-Porter date is set

Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier

According to MMA Fighting, the lightweight title bout of champion Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier will take place on December 11 at UFC 269. The fight has yet to be officially confirmed, but both fighters have given verbal approval.

Oliveira won the vacant title on May 16 by knocking out Michael Chandler in the second round. Poirier has had two technical knockout victories over Conor McGregor this year, cementing his position as a major title contender.

The venue for the UFC 269 event has not yet been announced.
