Alexander Emelianenko said that he had repeatedly received offers to move to other countries for permanent residence.

"I chose Russia, although I have the opportunity to live in another country. I don't leave on purpose: I live here, develop mixed martial arts here, promote sports and, if possible, a healthy lifestyle.

"Where were I offered to move to? I was offered to go to Japan, to perform and to live there. I said, I`m not going anywhere, I`ll be here. Everything suits me here. I'm Russian. I was offered to come to Korea; they wanted to help me rent a place to live and get a salary. They wanted me to perform directly for Korea", Emelianenko said.
