"We don't get paid overtime," Dubois said after the first-round win. "I had a great performance and I had my best training camp ever. I want to fight for the world title. I want to fight the best. I hope it happens soon. Who's next?"

DuBois' promoter, Frank Warren, would like to set up his boxer to face "regular" WBA champion undefeated Trevor Bryan, as DuBois is the number one contender in that sanctioning organization.

Bryan, whose promoter is Don King, has been inactive in the last few years. He has only defended his title once since 2018, when he stopped former world champion Bermain Stiverne in the eleventh round this January.
