David Allen successfully returns to the ring after a short "retirement"

Boxing night in Sheffield saw the successful return to the ring of British heavyweight David Allen (19-5-2, 16 KOs) who not long ago announced "the end of his boxing career".

The "White Rhino" adored by British fans stopped Italian Andrea Pesce (7-14-3, 2 KOs) in the second round, sending his opponent to the floor twice on his way to victory.

On the same night Dante Jardon (34-7, 25 KOs) scored a highly unexpected ninth round TKO victory over previously unbeaten Anthony Tomlinson (13-1, 7 KOs).
