Oliveira isn't sure if Poirier will be his next opponent

UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira confirmed that he plans to make the first defense of his belt in December, but doubts his opponent will be Dustin Poirier.

"I'm still looking forward to my next fight, which will be in December. There's a lot of talk about Poirier, but he seems to be more interested in other things. I'm training and waiting for the name of my opponent. Whoever it will be, the belt will stay in Brazil," Oliveira told Super Lutas.

On July 11 Poirier defeated Conor McGregor by TKO and cemented himself as the top contender for the belt. However, the American has not ruled out that his next move will be a "money" fight against Nate Diaz.
