"World of Boxing" wins promotional bids for Egorov-Goulamirian

Andrey Ryabinsky's promotional organization World of Boxing won a tender to organize a fight for the WBA belt in the cruiserweight division between Arsen Goulamirian (26-0, 18 KO) and Alexei Egorov (11-0, 7 KO). The winning bid of $210,000 was the only one submitted.

According to the rules of the World Boxing Association, the money will be divided 65 to 35 in favor of the champion, which means payments of $136,500 for Goulamirian and $73,500 for Yegorov. The World of Boxing now has 20 days to submit to the WBA a signed bout contract with the date and location of the meeting.
