Emelianenko: "Kharitonov's time is over"

MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko of Russia commented on compatriot Sergei Kharitonov's loss to Frenchman Cheick Kongo at Bellator 265.

"Didn't see the fight, but I know the result. Kharitonov somehow... I don't know. He's like a wimp. Couldn't wait a second and gave up. He could have been patient and continued fighting. He didn't have the patience. I think from now on he's just going to blow fights and just make money. He won't gain the form he had before. Kharitonov's time in the ring is over," Emelianenko said.

Kharitonov lost to Kongo by choking hold in the last second of the second round.
