WBA to take two championship belts from Davis

The WBA informed Gervonta Davis (25-0, 24 KOs) that he needs to decide which championship title he wants to keep for the future. The 26-year-old fighter holds World Boxing Association belts in three weight classes.

Davis is the WBA champion in the following weight divisions: super lightweight, lightweight and super featherweight. In the first two divisions, the American holds regular belts, while in the latter he holds the super champion title.

"The Tank" has been frequently changing weight divisions in recent years. It is not yet known when or at what weight the boxer from Baltimore will return to the ring.
