Emelianenko and Tarasov signs a contract for the fight

Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko and fight blogger Artem Tarasov signed a contract for a fight to be held on September 18 as part of the "Nashe Delo" promotion. The fight will be held by boxing rules but with MMA gloves.

Emelianenko, 40, has not competed since last July when he lost by TKO to Magomed Ismailov. Tarasov, 31, has had two boxing fights this year, losing to Mikhail Koklyaev and Tyson Dijon.

It's worth adding that Tarasov weighs 180 pounds, while Emelnenko usually weighs 260 pounds on fight day.
