Adesanya: "I'll definitely fight Jones one day"

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has expressed his belief that he will definitely one day fight former dominant "king" of the bantamweight division Jon Jones.

"The story between us isn't over yet. I don't think we'll ever see Jones at heavyweight. He's been talking about it since 2013. You either do it or you don't.

"I moved up to another division after three years in the promotion. All the fighters at that weight have expressed their respect for me - even the champion has backed me up. I don't think everyone can do it. Look at Jones - he's getting fatter every day.

"I'm 100% sure we'll meet him in the ring one day. It all has to happen at the right time. I don't know when it happens, but one day it will definitely happen," Adesanya said on The MMA Hour.
