Makhachev: I want to be like Khabib

Islam Makhachev said that he likes to be compared to Khabib. According to Islam, he himself wants to be like Nurmagomedov.

“If someone thinks that I am the next Khabib, then I will react normally. I want to be like Khabib, you know? He is a wonderful person, a champion. He now has a lot of money, he has everything, but despite this he remains a modest guy...” Islam said.

Makhachev defeated Thiago Moises with a choke hold in the fourth round. The fight took place at the UFC on ESPN 26 main event.
