According to Dan Raphael, Tyson Fury's (30-0-1, 21 KOs) third fight against Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) for the WBC heavyweight belt is likely to take place no earlier than October 9th.

Raphael yesterday confirmed earlier reports of coronavirus at the King of the Gypsies camp, saying that the champion himself had also caught Covid-19. In addition to him, Andy Lee and Joseph Parker, who was Fury's sparring partner, also tested positive.

"I was shocked," said John Fury, Tyson's father. "This shouldn't happen. This is too much. Apparently, one of the sparring partners brought the infection to the whole team. Things like that happen and we have to reschedule the fight."

Due to the postponement of the Wilder-Fury duel, the entire evening scheduled for July 24 in Las Vegas will be postponed.
