In the second half of August, Claressa Shields may have her second professional fight under the rules of MMA. The details of the her performance have not yet been officially confirmed. The 26-year-old made her MMA debut last week by winning by TKO in the third round over Brittney Elkin.
Shields signed with the Proffesional Fighters League. The American plans to combine boxing performances with cage fights. Shields' last boxing bout was in March when she defeated Marie Eve Dicaire.
In the boxing ring, the spectators will see the two-time Olympic champion again in the fall. Shields is planning fights against Savannah Marshall and Jessica McCaskill.
