Shields makes successful debut in MMA

Claressa Shields made her successful debut in mixed martial arts. World champion in three weight divisions stopped Brittney Elkin in the third round at PFL 4.

In the first round, Elkin went forward to her opponent. Shields' opponent threw a lot of kicks and recorded a successful takedown. However, Shields defended well and did not lose her composure.

Over time, the advantage began to go towards Shields, who began to inflict significant damage on her opponent with strong blows. In the third round, Shields, after several punches, forced Elkin to get on the floor, where Shields took a side position and, after several series of accurate hits, the referee stopped the fight.
