Joshua and Usyk to sign contracts this week, fight in September in London

Eddie Hearn announced that Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) vs Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) should be signed this week. The fight will take place on September 4 or 11 in London.

The Ukrainian will enter this fight from the position of the official contender for the title of world champion of the World Boxing Organization. Joshua, in addition to the WBO title, also owns the IBF and WBA championship belts.

Earlier Usyk owned a full set of champion belts in the cruiserweight division. The last fight the boxer from Ukraine had in October against Dereck Chisora. The last time Joshua fought was in December, when he stopped Kubrat Pulev.
