Frank Warren expects WBA to appoint Daniel Dubois (16-1, 15 KOs) to fight Trevor Brian (21-0, 15 KOs) for the regular heavyweight belt soon.
Dubois, 23, became interim World Boxing Association champion on Saturday, and Brian has held the regular title since January. According to Warren, a fight of these opponents should take place this year.
Brian also previously owned an interim belt. In his last fight the American defeated Bermane Stiverne.
