British heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) changed his plans. The Briton had two more professional fights this year, but fans will probably only see him in the ring once.

White, 33, was scheduled to fight this summer in the United States. One of the potential rivals for the "Body Thief" was the undefeated Jermaine Franklin. At the moment, this fight is unlikely to take place and Whyte is expected to return to the ring in September in the UK.

The interim WBC heavyweight champion is also seen as a fallback for Anthony Joshua, who has yet to negotiate a fight with Alexander Usyk. In his last fight, Whyte knocked out Alexander Povetkin in a rematch.
