Joshua vs Usyk for three heavyweight titles on 28 August in the UK

On August 28, at an evening organized at one of the UK football stadiums, Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) will face Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs). This was announced by the promoter of the boxer from Ukraine Alexander Krasyuk.

“We are at the stage of defining the details of the contracts. August 28 is the most optimal date for both sides,” Krasyuk said.

Usyk's team argues that negotiations to organize the fight, which for Joshua will become a mandatory defense of the WBO heavyweight title, are going in the right direction. The Briton also owns WBA and IBF championship belts.

For the Ukrainian, this will be the third fight after changing the weight category. In the last fight, Joshua defeated Kubrat Pulev, and for him it was a mandatory defense of the International Boxing Federation belt.
