Daniel Dubois (15-1, 14 KOs) made the decision to change coaching stuff for the second time in three months after losing to Joe Joyce in November. In February, information appeared that Martin Bowers had ceased to act as head coach of the 23-year-old boxer and was replaced by Mark Tibbs.
The collaboration with Tibbs did not last long. Three months later, he was replaced by Shane McGuigan, who, among other things, led Lawrence Okolie to the WBO Cruiserweight Championship.
Dubois, who has had serious health problems since last year's defeat to Joyce, will return to the ring on June 5th. The Briton will face Bogdan Dinu (20-2, 16 KOs), and the stake in the fight will be an interim WBA heavyweight belt. Dinu last fought in October. In the professional ring, the Romanian lost to Jarrell Miller and Kubrat Pulev.
