On the undercard of Demetrius Andrade vs Liam Williams in Hollywood, Florida, Olympic bronze medalist and three-time world amateur champion, Magomedrasul Majidov (3-1, 3 KOs) unexpectedly lost to experienced Andrey Fedosov (32-3, 26 KOs) of Russia in the first round of their duel, which was scheduled for twelve rounds. Majidov visited the floor twice before the fight was stopped.

Already in the first minute of the battle Fedosov was able to send his opponent to the floor with an accurate right to the jaw. Majidov fell to the canvas and apparently injured his right leg, which did not allow him to continue the fight after he got up. Another blow from Fedosov knocked Majidov down again. Referee Samuel Burgos stopped the fight as soon as Majidov went to the floor for the second time. The time was 1:24.

Due to a leg injury, Majidov had to leave the ring on a stretcher.

At the time of the fight with Majidov, Fedosov had not entered the ring for two and a half years and his chances of winning in this meeting were estimated as 1 to 9.
