On June 5, Daniel Dubois (15-1, 14 KOs) will return to the ring after his first professional defeat. The 23-year-old will face Bogdan Dinu (20-2, 16 KOs) and, oddly enough, there will be an interim WBA heavyweight belt at stake.
For Dubois, who has been training under a new coach in recent months, this will be his first appearance in the ring since his defeat to Joe Joyce in November. During that duel, the Briton suffered a serious eye injury.
Dinu last fought in October. In the professional ring, the Romanian lost to Jarrell Miller and Kubrat Pulev.
