April 12 is the deadline by which the date and place of the fight for the title of undisputed world heavyweight champion of Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) and Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) should be officially confirmed. The fight for the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF titles is scheduled for July.

The most serious candidate for organizing a duel between the two Britons is Saudi Arabia, where Joshua had a rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr. more than a year ago. A stadium was built specifically for this occasion, which was demolished a few weeks later.

Other options are organizing an evening in Singapore, Dubai, Qatar, China and the United States. If the location of the fight is not determined within two weeks, the newly signed contracts for the fight may become invalid.

Fury, who has not entered the ring in over a year, said he does not intend to begin preparations until all the details are confirmed. Joshua last fought in December.
