Former world heavyweight champion and now the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko took part in a briefing on territorial defense and combat training at the Desna training center in the Chernihiv region, Ukraine.
"Friends! The city administration is responsible for the safety in the capital, and therefore must be prepared for any incidents.
"Today, I, the deputies of the city administration and the heads of the districts of Kiev, were instructed at the Desna training center, getting acquainted with how individual military units operate. We also had combat training, shooting. Many of us have served in the army, but our skills still need to be improved.
"The training data at the Desna training ground will become regular for the city administration. The military commissar of the city of Kiev Sergei Klyavlin noted a fairly high level of training among most of those who passed the exercises," Klitschko wrote on his instagram.
