Umar Nurmagomedov to Sterling: Come back soon

Russian UFC bantamweight fighter Umar Nurmagomedov appealed to his division champion Aljamain Sterling, noting that he is waiting for the American to return to the octagon.

Yesterday Sterling posted a photo of Nurmagomedov on Instagram, with the caption “Young Eagle”.

In response, Umar wished the American to return as soon as possible, adding that everyone was waiting for his rematch with Petr Yan.

On March 7 at UFC 259 Yan landed a forbidden knee blow to Sterling in the fourth round, which is why he lost by disqualification and lost his championship belt. At the time of the stoppage the Russian was leading on scorecards by split decision.

Earlier the head of the UFC Dana White said that he intends to organize a rematch as soon as possible.
