Bivol's rival for April has been determined

WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Dmitry Bivol (17-0, 11 KOs) will have his next fight on April 17 at Matchroom Boxing event in the USA. The rival of the 30-year-old Russian will be Craig Richards (16-1-1, 9 KOs).

Bivol last fought in October 2019 defeating Lenin Castillo by unanimous decision. The belt of the World Boxing Association belongs to the Russian for more than three years, until now he has defended his trophy five times.

At the same event WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney may take on former three weight champion Jorge Linares. The evening will be broadcast on DAZN.
