UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz is calm about coming up against middleweight belt holder Israel Adesanya as an underdog. The meeting of these fighters will headline UFC 259, which will take place on March 6 in Las Vegas.

“I am always considered to be an underdog, but I am constantly winning. This is really nice. Perhaps after winning this fight, people will start to believe in me and treat me with due respect. Anyway, I don't care.

"After a fight with Luke Rockhold, in which I was also an underdog, a guy came up to me and said: "Thank you, my friend, because of you I am now rich." I asked him: "What's the matter?" He said that he bet on me and won 50 thousand dollars. So it's nice to hear that sort of thing. Perhaps thanks to this fight, someone can also win big money.

"Adesanya is a really good fighter, he is a champion. Nobody defeated him. 20-0 is a good record, but it's time for 20-1,” Blachowicz told MMA Fighting.
