Bookmakers considers Vadim Nemkov to be the main favorite to win the Bellator Light Heavyweight Grand Prix. The 28-year-old Russian is the reigning champion of the promotion in this weight category.
Nemkov will have a quarterfinal fight on April 16 against Phil Davis, who was defeated by a split decision in November 2018. Also at this event, the strongest will be revealed by two former UFC stars - Anthony Johnson and Yoel Romero.
A week earlier, on April 9, two other quarterfinal pairs will meet: Ryan Bader - Lyoto Machida, Corey Anderson - Dovletzhan Yagshimuradov. The semi-finals are expected to take place in July and the final is in October.
